1. Introduction

AISCouncil ("Service") is a browser-based AI chat platform operated by BizTransit Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service at aiscouncil.net.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture via Google OAuth. No password is stored.

Billing Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials. We store only your subscription status, plan tier, and billing period.

Chat Data: All conversations, bot configurations, and settings are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. We do not transmit or store your chat content on our servers.

API Keys: Your AI provider API keys are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. They are sent directly from your browser to the respective AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google, OpenRouter, Ollama). We never receive, transmit, or store your API keys on our servers.

4. Data Storage & Security

The Service operates on a zero-server architecture for user content. Your conversations, bot configurations, and API keys never leave your device. Only subscription billing data is stored server-side in Cloudflare KV, protected by encryption at rest and in transit.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In: OAuth authentication only. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• PayPal: Payment processing. See PayPal's Privacy Policy.
• AI Providers: When you use an AI model, your messages are sent directly from your browser to the selected provider using your API key. Each provider has its own data handling policies.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies. All persistent data is stored in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any form of cross-site tracking.

7. Data Retention

Chat data and settings are retained in your browser until you clear them. Subscription billing records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation for accounting purposes. You can delete all local data at any time via Settings > Privacy > Clear All Data.

8. Your Rights

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data (Settings > Privacy > Export All Data)

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AISCouncil ("Service") at aiscouncil.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

AISCouncil is a browser-based AI chat platform that allows you to interact with various AI language models. The Service provides a user interface for sending messages to AI providers and receiving responses. All processing occurs in your browser or directly between your browser and third-party AI providers.

3. Accounts & Registration

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update any changes.

4. Subscription Plans

Free Plan: Access to free AI models, council mode, unlimited conversations, memory, and reminders. Free forever.

Lite Plan ($5/month or $36/year): All Free features plus premium models, image generation, shareable bot links, publishing, apps, vision, and P2P collaboration. Includes a 7-day free trial.

5. Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial of Lite features upon first sign-in. The trial begins automatically and cannot be paused or extended. After the trial period, your account will revert to the Free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan. No payment information is required to start a trial.

6. Billing & Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal. All prices are in USD. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase for first-time subscribers. Refunds are not available for renewal payments or after the 14-day window.

8. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

The Service allows you to use your own API keys from AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google, OpenRouter). When using BYOK:

• You are solely responsible for all API costs incurred with your keys
• Your API keys are stored only in your browser and sent directly to the provider
• We are not liable for any charges, rate limits, or issues with third-party AI providers
• You must comply with each provider's terms of service and usage policies

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to build a competing product
• Share your subscription access with unauthorized users
• Interfere with the proper operation of the Service

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of BizTransit Sdn Bhd. You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. Bot configurations shared via URL are considered user content.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for evaluating and verifying all AI-generated content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizTransit Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BizTransit Sdn Bhd from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
